Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University, one of Turkey's most prestigious universities surrounded by natural beauty between the country's two major cities, Ankara and Istanbul, was established on July 3, 1992. The university comprises 16 faculties, 1 institute, 1 vocational school, 8 vocational schools, and 21 research centers. With over 1,400 academic staff and 1,200 administrative personnel, the university provides a modern educational environment for approximately 33,000 students. Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University represents a third model alongside state and foundation universities in Turkey, being a foundation-supported state university. Additionally, the university provides scholarship support to successful students.
