Yalova University, established on May 31, 2008, and published in the Official Gazette numbered 26892, aims to educate individuals equipped with contemporary skills that can integrate with the world. The foundation of Yalova University is based on Yalova Vocational School, which was a part of Uludağ University. Recognizing the need for a university in Yalova, which became a city in 1995, Yalova Higher Education Foundation was established on January 22, 1996. Additionally, on February 19, 2007, the 'Yalova University Construction and Survival Association' was formed. As a result of these efforts, Yalova University, a young and dynamic institution, commenced its educational activities in 2008.
