Kırklareli University was established by Law No. 5662 published in the Official Gazette on May 29, 2007. Today, the university operates with 12 faculties, 3 institutes, 1 school, 1 conservatory, 7 vocational schools, and 16 application and research centers.
The graduate education units include the Faculty of Science Institute, the Social Sciences Institute, and the Health Sciences Institute.
At the undergraduate level, the educational units are as follows: Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Faculty of Technology, Faculty of Tourism, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Theology, Faculty of Architecture, Faculty of Law, Lüleburgaz Faculty of Aviation and Space Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Applied Sciences, and Faculty of Health Sciences. Additionally, the Foreign Languages School and the State Conservatory also offer undergraduate programs.
At the associate degree level, there are the Technical Sciences Vocational School, the Social Sciences Vocational School, the Health Services Vocational School, Lüleburgaz Vocational School, Babaeski Vocational School, Pınarhisar Vocational School, and Vize Vocational School.
